Flashback to a nerdy and wonderful Saturday morning in late Feb.

As part of the Sustainable Living festival in Melbourne, Footscray High School opened up the doors to their wonderful sustainability centre. All run by students, they have a composting machine (which tackles 100kg of food a day!), an orchard, a food and herb garden, greenhouses, a tiny sustainable house, a fish farm, a portable pizza oven (part of a student business project), a beautifully open classroom and just so much more.

This is one school doing things right!
